Last year I told you about a man that was hit while riding home from the shop. He is now paralyzed from the waist down, no chargers where ever filed against the driver.
This man will be doing some work down at the shop, prepping bikes for my husband. He just needs to keep busy more than anything else. This winter, my ol man will be converting his Sportster, the bike he was on when hit, into a trike.
He will be riding again next season.

How could no charges be filed against the driver?!?! That's insane!
Glad that he'll be getting back on the road. Mentally, that's probably the best thing for him. Thanx for the update.
A couple of years ago a friend of ours was hit and killed by a woman in an SUV on her cell phone. You would have thought she would have gotten at least an inattentive driving ticket, no charges were filed against her either. She was turning left, while he was going straight at an intersection. She ran over him, crushing his chest.
Yeah, the idiots in the car hardly ever get charged.
We tried out a trike and it felt so odd, we decided we'd rather give up riding than ride a trike.
hey now, be nice about the trike. My bike is an antique servi-car aka trike. Granted I can't go faster than 55mph, but still love the old gal.
To be honest I don't care for those converted trikes or those VW ones. But this man wants to ride again, and we will help him do that.
